AI Made Fun was founded by Devshree Golecha — an award-winning STEM educator, author, and leader with over 17 years of experience in data, analytics, and AI strategy.

After nearly two decades leading data and technology teams across industries — from finance to education — Devshree recognized a growing gap: children everywhere are using AI-powered tools, but very few understand them. She envisioned a way to change that — through stories, creativity, and curiosity-driven learning.

What began as a mother–daughter project to make complex ideas simple has grown into a full AI literacy platform serving schools, educators, and families.

Our Beginning
A Story That Started With a Book

In 2023, Devshree and her daughter Kiara co-authored the groundbreaking children’s book Data Made Fun for Kids — a fully illustrated story that introduces children to the world of data, AI, and ethics through relatable characters, humor, and adventure.
The book quickly gained national and international recognition:
  • Kirkus Starred Review and selection among Kirkus Top 100 Books
  • International Impact Book Award – STEM Category
  • Featured in DataCamp's "Best Math & Data Books for Kids 2025"
  • Spotlighted on Great Day Houston (KHOU 11)

This success became the foundation of AI Made Fun — proving that storytelling can unlock children’s curiosity and confidence in understanding technology.

The Founder
Devshree Golecha

Devshree Golecha is recognized globally as a trailblazer in data and technology leadership. Her 17-year career spans executive roles including Head of Data and Technology Operations at Voice AI start-up and Head of Enterprise Data at Step Up for Students, a statewide scholarship funding organization.
She has led enterprise analytics, governance, and modernization initiatives serving millions of students and families, and has been recognized with numerous honors:
